Spirit Words

to quench our undying thirst
About the Blog

About the Blog

A friend of mine that I do Bible studies with has encouraged me multiple times to create a book of devotions because she was in awe of the feedback that I would come up with, in reference to the subject matters we talked about.  I can't take credit for it.  It's God who touches my heart and gives me the words to speak.  It wasn't until Sunday, June 2nd, 2019 that I felt the prodding of the Holy Spirit to do it, not in the form of a book but as a blog.

"Spirit Words" not only gives credit where credit is due, but words given by the Holy Spirit are the words that we so desperately need. John 4:13-14 says, "Jesus answered and said to her [the Samaritan woman], 'Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again; but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst...'"  Jesus says later on in chapter 6 verse 63, "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life."

We can live however we want to.  We have that choice, but nothing we do will ever fill that God-shaped hole in our hearts.  I hope and pray that each blog post will encourage you and spark the desire in your heart to get to know, and to follow, the God that I know and love.

God bless you. <3

About Me

About the Author

I am born-again believer who God has graced with blessing upon blessing every single minute of every day.  I lead two Bible studies and am involved in the Youth and Children's Ministries at my church.  I don't have it all together, and I still have areas that I need to work on, but I know that God has big plans for me, and I can be the person He wants me to be if I would just let Him have control.  I, too, am learning all the same lessons that I share with you.
